Need help on Explorer 2 spring bar

I am trying to use leather NATO(2mm thick) on my Rolex Explorer 2 16570. but the space between the original Spring Bar(from the steel bracelet) and the case is too small for the leather NATO to pass thru. have any thinner spring bar that fit my Rolex Explorer 2. being searching high and low but no result. any kind soul can advise me, with web link to purchase.

i will not compromise safety for fashion. a leather NATO is nice but a thinner springbar may not hold the weight of the watch head well and leather NATO being thick may pop the springbar out easily. Not worth take that risk.

probably you can turn to rolex watchmakers for advice.
