Is the resale better for the blue sub? Becos I find that TT black subs are quite rare in the pre-owned market, even though i found two at bronzeage.-------------
My collection:-
a) Rolex Sub LV "Y" serial
b) Rolex SS Daytona
c) RXW Marina Militare MM20 47mm

Do you guys know which vintage TT Sub would be sporting the purplish dial then? Got some confusing/conflicting reports leh...some bros were saying it's gotta be more than 10-15 yrs ago liao, usually on the nipple dial, but bro terrencehu's isnt that olde rite? There is no true love, just a finely tuned jealousy

TT blue sub
i asked the owner of bronzeage and he told me that sub blue is more popular compared to TT black sub..(anyway, i've got a couple of black dial watches so i prefer blue). i presume blue dial may have better resale value if it's more popular....but am not sure...
the $8.8K TT blue sub is brand new "Z" series..i was contemplating to get that instead of this piece but it's another $1.3K more and he also told me that it's better to have exposed pin holes so that it's easier to change it (in case the pins get rusty over time since this is a lux diver watch).
cheers

yes..it's 16613 half gold sub (TT mean half gold)...brand new from THG cost $10K+
got this preowned cos i've been wanting to get rid of my half gold DateJust (too small for me)..besides, i've got another YG Rollie Day Date...so all the more i don't need the DJ.
black and blue sub costs the same if you get them brand new from Authorised Dealers...if you're thinking of pre-owned..it depends on the age and condition of the watch...there's a $6.5K blue sub (8 yrs old) but it's no gold flushes on the flip flop lock (if you dun mind)...the newer ones have gold flushes along the flip lock..
hope this helps...think the rest of them will be able to help you with their comments....
cheers

i feel that the blue dial is more unique to the submariner TT combination. if black dial TT combination, not so unique.if you have issues with your account, click here for self help and read forum rules here. 90% of your answers can be found in Forum FAQ
