i think ceramic bezel has a better finishing to it. and to be honest most of us wldnt be wearing the Sub for really physical activities, so chances of breaking the bezel wld be pretty low IMO

I think Ceramic bezel looks nicer.
But like many have commented, ceramic is prone to break once it goes beyond its resistance.

Yes my sentiments exactly...and this black grey combination against light really enhances the beauty of the watch

functionality issues aside, i would stilll have like to own both.

The ceramic version is very bling and flashy, esp since the extended lugs make the watch size look big.

The old aluminium version is also nice because of its greyish hue at certain angles (as someone prev pointed out). Makes the watch look very seasoned and rugged, yet still instantly recognisable.

Currently have the subc. Sold the 16610 a few weeks back with only a tinge of regret. But i guess my SD will do just as well.

The ceramic bezel shines, like polished black marble.

And it's *platinum* PVD in the markers.

              Looks gorgeous!

I would gladly wear either! But if had to choose ... ceramic!

Ceramic for daily wear as it is resistance against scratch.

the Ceramic is more scratch resistant than metal

"bezels are supposed to be entirely scratch-proof, UV resistant and even salt water resistant against corrosion. This would definitely be a grand step that Rolex have taken" read this somewhere, hopefully it is proven.

Ceramic Bezel will be the choice . The imprint of the numbers on the bezel do look classy as compared to Aluminium.
Tougher and better resistance. However, Price will be higher too.
