  • frankly any rolex without the cyclop aka bubble looks cleaner and better
referring to sub, daytona, deepsea, seadweller
i find that little magnifying glass old school and aesthetically unappealing but that's just me, i know many people still like it
afterall, its one of the important signatures of rolex

    • I prefer the Sub ND.

      • For me, I would prefer a Sub with No Date as well.. Dress up a bracelet or leather strap, dress down with a NATO.

        • seems to be the general consensus - sub ND.

i find the cyclops a little distracting, and i feel watches look much better with a clean dial.

          • Yes ever since the new Sub ND 114060 come out, everyone seems to like the ND better. I personally also feel the Sub ND is better. The cyclop kinda sucks. But the best is the old sea dweller. Damn it!! If only Rolex upgraded the old sea dweller to ceramic that will be the best lah. Clean ceramic look that comes with date but without the cyclop. Sian they come out with a stupid over size humongous DSSD.

            • Not a fan of the 114060's oversized lugs and maxi-dial. The 14060's lugs and dial are much more elegant.

As for the ceremic bezel (too shiny) and improved bracelet (but heavier), you have to ask yourself whether these changes are worth the premium of $1K+.

sub date. it's pretty much a rollie signature.

                  • sub date.. more useful if it's a day to day wearing kind watch.

                    • Was deciding on date vs no date. In the end, got the date. Looks cleaner. Phone and computer will tell me the date. This is not my only watch, so it was easier. I guess if it is the watch I wear daily, the date would be my choice.
