The polished accents on the watch are indeed beautiful, but agree with you that it does give one concern about scratches. This is one "setback" that I foresee when I was deciding between the GMT II and the new EXP II 42mm.

Well, pretty obvious that the GMTIIC is still the hands down winner for me here.... hope I didn't make a wrong choice. Well, just enjoy the watch.... Haha!

You may want to keep a lookout for any 0% instalment plans by the credit card companies in the future. Some of them are worth considering imho, such as the 6% rebate (capped at $360, with upto 36-mth 0% instalment) promo by Maybank in Nov last year. Bought a DJ for my wife during that time
