    I got the Red/Black coke GMT 2 love it and distinction from a regular black bezel n even Sub. Don't like the blue black model, not much design change

    Yeah,thats right.
    I must agree that the new gmt master with blue black bezel looks nice and unique but whether it can stand the test of time in its popularity is uncertain.
    Take a look at the submariner,they were never too flamboyant with their colors as compared to the gmt master but yet after so many years,I must say it is still one of the most sought after watch in rolex and still remains very popular among watch enthusiast.

    Also, the lume is blue on the BLNR vs. green on the Black.
    I guess its part of product extension to make different "models" based on the same platform.
    Change bezel, hands, dial becomes new hot selling model.

    PAM is really a classic example.All their models are so alike and they come up with all limited edition that makes it not so 'limited' anymore.

    I think most brands do that. Just look at Panerai ... even PAM fans get mixed up with the models
