          Why keep it BNIB?! If u buy it, u must wear it! If u wanna buy it for investment, I rather u put the money elsewhere on stocks or shares or property? lol..

            One proper servicing at RSC wipes out most of any returns you can expect to profit off your watch... Take and wear better.

              For me, when I buy watches, firstly it has to be one that I like first and that I will wear.
              Only after this have been considered, then I will look into the so called "investment" part.

                My opinion is Rolex is meant to be worn, to enjoy the weight on the wrist, to enjoy checking the time every now n then, to feel the pride of wearing one, n to show off. But if you have too many Rolex to wear,then maybe leaving some BNIB to resell is not too bad an idea.

                    It shld appreciate ~6% yearly & no promise that it'll be a discontinued model, but the older non-ceramic model 16610LV had, so best to keep yours in a good condition.

                      Given a choice between 16610lv and 116610lv, I'll take the latter anytime.Though the former have already been discontinued, I still like the green dial better.

                        Thanks a lot for the feedback.
                        Was offered the hulk in Hk for a pretty good price, didn't buy it in the end.
                        Bought a 16600 SD instead, which I love and wear quite often
