That's a little bit steep. I was in Italy in DEC last year, the list price for SUB C was euro 6305. If u factor in the 14.5% tax rebate, it should be around 5400euro. However I may be wrong since I did heard rumour about price hike for Rolex..and just maybe different european countries have different price list. Anyway, hope your fren likes her watch, haha I remembered I paid cash SGD10.5k for my rolex gmt 2C when first launched.

I just spotted a SS sub selling at people park complex AD at level 2 for $10640, I did not go in to ask if there any further discount . Hope this can help

Isn't the "hulk" a Submariner? The Explorer II will be a better choice IMO.

You are right but the hulk is more suitable for casual wear whereas the TT is more formal.
Anyway I will be off to HKG next month and will get the X2 white if price is right.
