Hi I'm an owner of a brand new z series dweller. Just curious, why is it that the subs are more in demand than the dweller?
hi atomant...guess subs are considered the "icon" of rollies.... dweller not so much in demand....but this maybe only observed in this part of the world.... my 2 cents worth....
Rolex TT Submariner Date Blue Dial (Ref#116613LB)
Rolex Deep Sea Sea Dweller (Ref#116660)
Rolex 18K/SS Oyster Perpetual Datejust (Ref#16233)
Omega Seamaster 300M Chrono (Ref#2920.80.91)
ohlins, SD have a smaller face then Sub too, right?
Is it good to get a SD before July 1st?
And roughly how much the latest price with discount?
Thanks bro.
yalor.....i mentioned 1 mm smaller in diameter......
good to get always means get asap lah...........
recently i asked for a fren....seems like most stores giving 10% ......a few months ago got AD giving 15% but not now........2 more weeks to 7% gst so watches are moving fast....

SD is not that popular in the market. So demand not high, you can get a good discount but resale value wise
Hi Darkangel, well actually I was considering between the seadweller and the submariner. Though the submariner costs a couple of hundreds more due to it's popularity. The price I get after discount for this two models are still within a couple of hundreds difference.
For resale wise, how much would a new submariner fetch?
yeah so at one time.....possible to get at 6500.......now around 6900
Hi Ohlins, may I know how long back? $6500 sounds like a few years back to me. I've always been a watch fanatic, just that racing has taken up most of my time. I'm sure you know.
dunno the real answer....but i guess it could be a few reasons ...
more adverts over the years on submariners.......so newbies get attracted hehe
some ppl die die want the cyclops.....
SD sits taller on the wrist due to a thicker caseback.....
a 1 mm smaller dial on the SD.....
abit heavier than the sub....
I was actually contemplating between the TT Blue Sub and my Dweller. Just not sure if I'd wear it on a daily basis and if it's the right time for my age yet. It sure looks cooooool!@!. But I picked the SD!
Now my choices would be between the TT Blue Sub or the TT GMT II
