What to look out for when buying a pre owned piece?
Cosmetic wise I know. the bracelet must not be loose.
Anything more to take note?

Just to share, got my submariner without date at very slightly less than $8775 and my payment is via credit card. Was offered submariner with date at $10,300 & also saw the green submariner.
I've sourced a couple of shops for the sub w/o date. Cortina offers the least discount, City hall told me no discount at retail, Paragon 5%. The house glass Scott's offers 10%, Dickson wisma 10% and The Watch palace 10%.

The list price for the 116610 is $11,120. There was already some discount given if you were quoted $10,600.
I think if you are paying in cash, the AD may give you slightly more discount.
As for grey dealers' pricing, it should definitely be better (if payment is by cash in full).
It is a personal choice whether you want to get a pre-owned piece or new.

Getting an original bracelet link for the DSSD should not be a problem as long as there is stock, you pay for it and the RSC is opened. As for the cost, you can call up to check. I guess it should be between $100 and $150.

Good day to all,
had bought a sub with date to reward myself for being in my current job for 13 years. Hope to learn more from seniors here and to own another Rolex SS in the near future..

Hey guys
Just wondering how long your lume lasts for after you hit the lights for the night. For myself, the watch is left on the table under regular warm lighting for about 1 to 2 hours before I head to bed. Let's say I head to bed at midnight, how long should I be expecting the lume to last for? Visible at 3am still? 4am?
TIA!
Edit: This would be for a Sub C (with Chromalight). I guess DSSD owners can chime in too..
