I just got my SD 116660 will post some pix later..
My watch also kenna scratches 1st day i wear...the scratch is at the helium escape valve area...due to the pearl bracelet i hv been wearing..
The cleaning cloth probably isn't the main cause. Rather, it's the dust particles that are trapped in the cloth that could have caused the hairline scratched marks on the metal.
Yeah.. Nothing much can be done other than accept it.. Just wanna know how it got there..
Haha.. I tot so too.. But can the cleaning cloth really caused scratch to metal?
At the bracelet. Not sure how they got there, as I'm quite a careful person.
Same lah... I'm also very careful with my watches but these scratches just appeared from no where. Kind of upset but moves on loh... I suspect they were caused by the cleaning cloth.
You mean the clasp area or the bracelet? My TT got hairlines which I think it is normal and I don't really bother about it now. It is just about getting used to it. Once it has scratches and more hairlines then maybe it is time to send for a simple polishing.
Anything is maybe I am rotating my watches so it didn't attract too much hairlines or scratches.
Just enjoy your watch. I supposed it is made to be work that way.

In less than a month, my TT has lots hairline scratches.
Didn't even know how it got scratched.
