Help on brand new Seadweller 16600 in HK

Hi bros,

I came across a local AD in HK who still has one last 16600 brand new in that tiny little plastic case.

The sales guy there is asking SGD9.4k for it. What would be a fair price for such a piece?

Grab it as it's already discontinued. It's expected a high premium as SD is indeed a good sought after watch. I feel SD is better than DSSD unless you can wear DSSD.

Personally I will get a "D","M" or "Z" series seadweller they should be around $7k-high $7k range save about 2k !

dont think a D seadweller is worth $7k to high-7k
a Z bnib with stickers full set may worth high-7k but not a preown D

as AD quoted you sg9.4k, even with a 5% discount, its sg8.9k
that's still above the last list price before discon?
in any case, if you decide to go ahead with the purchase, insist on the tool kit
its a collector's item now

if you are buying to keep and you only like brand new piece, then go ahead and purchase it. if either of the 2 conditions mentioned in previously sentence is not met, then get a pre-own piece.

Thanks, that's a good point too. Frankly I don't mind preowned as I won't have to worry about getting scratches etc.
