I doubt so... it seems an expedition watch for a special event. But we never know? Maybe Rolex does launch it and it will be available?

Yeah! But it's so big! The glass is so thick, like glasses... haha. But I love the laser engraving, esp. the Rolex logo on the crown. Very nice. Perhaps it will be a precedent for future Rolex watches.

Thanks for sharing, that is one awesome clip...

It may starts off as an expedition, but I think it may eventually be commercialised if there are enough commercial interests... just as the space exploration qualified Speedmasters by Omega.

Having said, that's a enormous chunk of metal to have around your wrist, I must say!

Thanks for the reminder, I didn't know it was reported in another thread. Well, should connect them as it's the same topic. Well, that shows how serious and enthusiatic Rolex fans we are!

Seriously is this watch meant to wear on the wrist at or close to that depth?

You can try but you'll turn in to an instant human milkshake at that depth..... even your bones will go to mush !!

Just wait for the video after the dive..... this watch will be tethered to one of the robotic arms, Rolex WANTS this to be seen
