Hi Ruby98, your yellow Daytona is a discontinued model and is hard to find among watch traders here too.
It will be nice if you can share it with us in this forum.

JustcallmeD: it was by chance a local leather strap maker, Chia, told me he has it while I was fixing a black one on my daytona. His customer has apparently changed his mind after ordering the green croco customized for his own watch. It was also a coincidence that the lug size was the same. : ) I can pm u his contact if u want.

The Deepsea is nice with the rubber strap too : )
Does it look anything like this?

I've tried the HULK and the DSSD and HULK is more wearable on my wrists. You should try it first and see for yourself.

Still the Hulk. What I like about the Hulk is that it doesn't pretend to be a tool watch. Sure, it can survive 1,000ft (LOL! Like any of us will go deeper than 200ft!), but the Submariner has gone far past that tool watch line, and the Hulk pulls no punches in making itself a classy dress watch which just happens to have its roots as the legendary dive watch.

Now you can start to see the dilemma with the DSSD. It's neither here nor there. It tries too hard to be a tool watch. But 99.99% of its wearers don't go deeper than 5ft in the pool. And as a dress watch, it doesn't carry the sophistications of an AP, or the "look-at-me" size of the panerais, and neither does it sit comfortably under the cuffs. Unless of course if you're the 0.01% who happens to be a deep-sea explorer, or at the very least, an off-shore diver where the watch becomes a very nice conversation starter ("Yeah, I kinda need it for my job...").

But hey, love is a wonderful thing (while it lasts!). So if you're in love with the DSSD, go get it! And when you are out of it, that's what the Rolex Garage sub-forum is for. Can't go wrong.

It's the deepsea for me - I have always wanted a bigger submariner and the standard remains 40mm.

If u like big chucky watch then go for deepsea, but you may feel the heavy watch head swinging up n down your wrist.

Hulk wears more comfy on wrist. But due to the green dial, it may not last long, to most black dial seems to last longer in our procession.

You may wish to try on both to decide. Buy the one you like, we only here to provide our personal feedback only

Hulk for me. The DSSD is like wearing a hand grenade on your wrist.
