    Now, brand new or pre-owned.
    Price diff is abt $2K.

    $6 Vs $4.2K
If budget allows, brand new. Nothing beats owning a timepiece brand new, and u'll have a piece of mind for a $2k difference, which will probably last you the entire time you have with the watch.

To get a good pre-own EXPLORER 1 in good condition very difficult.

Anyway if getting pre-owned u may wish to decide wehther to have rehaut/chapter ring or not. Happy hunting

I agree...36mm looks nicer than 39mm. But it's my personal preference. Go with your heart.

    Hihi,

I did my rounds today at chinatown then hourglass.
    Explorer I (36mm) SGD 5,992
    Explorer I (39mm) SGD 7,500
I did not really ask for Explorer II.

Size wise : I prefer 36mm. 39mm looks so big on me. lol
Dealer told me since 39mm is out, collectors are rushing to buy 36mm. Is this true?

    I like the black one.
Guess the size is fine on a gal right?

    I was quoted abt $7.8k

depends on whether you want a slightly more "busy" watch with 4 hands as opposed to 3, and outer bezel. i have seen exp I/II on ladies. looks good.

This info is readily available here with a little search. I do not think it can be easily corrected, as someone here had informed, but I have forgotten how it can be done. Vaguely, much tedious work is needed to be carried out by a watch technician to have the crown corrected, ie you cannot possibly do it on your own.

thanks for the reply bro... will be getting it this week... just another noob question, understand that the rolex logo on the crown are often not at the upright position when tighten... can this be corrected?

In current context and from the list price of $8,632 (if it still is this price), you have been given about 14.5% discount already. And since this is a ROLEX sports model where discount is usually low to zero, in addition that it is brand new from a local AD, I think the price is not too bad.

    Good luck
