a year since X2 42mm landed in SG. I see this is now in stock in every AD.

Is this still worth buying? the next 44mm comes out, then 42mm drops like a rock again? (if there's a 44mm)

Hi, sorry to sidetrack..does anyone here know how much discount can be negotiated for from the ADs as I am going to Europe ( london/paris/italy) this year-end..

I am looking at an explorer 1 and would like to know if it can be discounted from the list price as I am contemplating between buying there and in Singapore..

Hi, i am traveling to Europe (London, Paris and Italy) this year end and am contemplating between purchasing an explorer 1 214270 there and in locally.

Does anyone know the level of discount for ADs there and if its more worthwhile to buy there than here?

Sport series 0% disc.

credit card discount yes.
DBS has 5% for hour glass but capped at $1000
ANZ was better at 13% capped at $780 but just ended last month

Oh, coz I emailed an italian AD and the list price is 5,400 euros..if no discount, it will mean a selling price of ard SGD7707 after the VAT rebate of 13.5% and based on a conversion rate of 1.65..

I can get it locally for 7668..should be a better buy then..

something wrong with your prices. 5400 euro before tax refund? i don't think this is the current price

It's ok, anyway I got the watch at THG as DBS has the 5% rebate..which effectively equates to the price if I had bought in Italy even with the AD giving a 5% discount..moreover don't have to worry about being taxed upon return..haha!

it's not very attractive with Euro at 1.6 region now. especially with DBS 5% rebate.
if Euro falls to 1.5 or below, then it's more worthwhile.

further more if one is unlucky enough to get caught at custom and had to pay 7% GST, it makes it worse.

If u are caught without declaring,then the tax will be more than 7%.
Best is to get someone to bring it in for you.
Minimse ur risk.
