funnily, i am more careful when i wear my vintage Seiko than any of my Rolex! lol

yup, i agree we should buy to wear now. Later on when got surplus funds then buy to keep. When got MORE surplus funds, buy as gifts (nah, just kiddin)

Bro, u shd save up for the X2 and enjoy the GMTIIc meanwhile. in the end, u will want to own both

my first rolex was a LBNIB (due to dated and named warranty) 14060. end up sold it to buy a 2005 SD. looking back, i should have just keep and wear the ND sub and save up for the SD (which is readily available in mint condition even now).

we all learn along this hobby. styles may change, focus may change. i find myself tend to enjoy having lesser watches than to maintain a stable of them As i say this, i know i have four speedies and i hardly rotate to them as i wear my rolex more now

Thanks for yr advise bro, so if u prefer to keep lesser watches, y not consider trade to keep only what u prefer?

all my years in this hobby i have only traded ONCE. it is very rare to meet someone who likes your watch you are selling and you liking what he is letting go

There are pros n cons between the two
Though i like the gmt2c design, I'd prefer matt bracelet than polished center links

                    Damn right bro....

I'll only get the GMT when it goes 42mm.... that WILL be a great day indeed.

Better still imagine a day-date dial GMT !! OK I'm dreaming now.... but nothing wrong with a dream right.

size makes a difference. the GMT2C smaller dial size fits smaller wrist like me better.

Congrats bro. It's good you found the "right" one. Good to know you followed your heart and got what smiled to you and you are now actually enjoying and using your watch. Cheers.
