maybe because if add date, the movement quite "big". more parts for sure, but at what size?

maybe to some, daytona with date looks a bit busy. but to me, if have date is good cause i always forget which day it is haha

I definitely think Daytona will be discontinued soon...

...just so that they can increase the retail price to S$20,000.

Happened with every watch they "updated". SD, GMT, Day-Date... I'm pissed off with the stupid price increases in the new models..paying for essentially the same materials, movement, only a new look.

From now on I am only buying used current gen Rolexes.

Agree.. Just look at EXPLORER 2 16570 they increased the retail price to S$8097 last round - I suspect they preparing to discontinue it soon.
