Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. Have not bought a rolex in a few years but recently the itch is back! I'm planning to get my girlfriend and myself a stainless steel daytona. My ad qouted me 14800 and 15800 for the white and black. I am wondering if this is the price these days. Would appreciate some inputs from you guys! Thanks you and by the way, great forum!

Need the expert's advice...
Hey, my friend told me recently that the Daytona Pricing have come down abit. The latest quote he got from AD is 16.5k for a black dial unlike few mths back is like 17k to 18 k. Do you think now is the right time for him to purchase it?

right time or not depends on how you reference it to. beginning of last year when pricing was hoovering around 20k, people say 18kis a good price. now the avg price from AD is about 16-17k. preown can get just slightly lower than 16k. so 16.5k can be considered a good price.
then again, check out the last page of straits times where it is reported that recession may yet be over. will the next wave of down turn come? if it does, will price drop below 16k again?
so long as u purchase @ the best price @ this moment is good enough

Well, I think he prefer a brand new watch as he is more particular. Thanks for sharing, I will still share the info with him & see if he is interested or not. Thank you...
