Local AD started giving 5% for x2 recently when i checked but if you get from overseas (e.g. Europe) definately be a sweeter deal

agreed, overseas AD watches, albeit being exactly the same watches as local AD watches, are about 10-15% cheaper because of the government tax rebates given to tourists

unless u are frequent traveller,it's not worth it to deliberately get the watchs from overseas ad just for that 5-10% extra discount.

That's very true.That's why I normally buy my watches from non local ADs,cause I got contacts whom I can get better prices from as compared to singapore. =)
Just bought a couple of watches myself last week,will post some pictures soon to share with fellow forummers here.But not explorer II though,its a nice watch.but there're just too many watches that I like over this one.heehee.

P.S. Something that I would like to add is that some people will prefer their warranty cards to be undated,but actually it really doesn't make any difference,cause at the end of the day,ur serial number will tell roughly when the date was manufactured and produced anyway.Just my 2cents worth.
