V series SD, any sightings?

Anyone knows if the 4000ft SD would make its apperance in the V series? If so, is this baby really discontinued?

there was a pic of a v serial SD posted in ang mo forum.... so it's a fact....

another fact is SD is discontinued..........

yup..only seen once in a foreign forum. my ad dont have, they said they are not getting any SD to start with.......so could be the last of the last pcs.

when gmt-II was discon, many also thot IIc replaced it but somehow limited pieces of M series GMT with 3186 movement somehow managed to infiltrate into the market.

left over components. methinks v series SD could possibly be the LAST dweller to be manufatured by rolex and not the Ms.

It's still a SD ! For collectors this is the one !

Last week I saw 3 pieces still very new SD 4000 (M) cert + box going about SGD 6700 (open price) in KL

The seller keep insisting me getting one as price nego.
He said many buy M & wated to make fast 1-2k but did not make it.
People buy without notice there are many many pieces in the market, then their credit cards burst. So sell cheap.
Plus others owners selling theirs which bought year 2000 (way cheeeaper)
to expect the V.

If buy Rolex watch in Malaysia from someone (not AD) it is better to check the watch in Rolex center. A lot of fake Rolex. JMHO.

That is an amazingly good price. But if it's not from an AD, I wouldn't have bought it in Malaysia. But that's just me.

I always live by the motto : If it is too good to be true, it's usually not true!
