If u are travelling a lot a GMT2C would be nice and appropriate. If u only travel occasionally, and EXP2 - orange hand is nicer. The gmt function is a little more troublesome to adjust because not rotating bezel.
As for panerai, both 320/321 looks nice...321 a little nicer in my opinion. However, the gmt hand does not tell either day/nite. But indeed a nice looking watch.

A bit of dilema. All nice and cost about same price.... Have tried on GMT 2c and the PAMs, but not the expII yet. Is it true that some says it looks better in photo than actual?

Finally decided on the GMTIIC but the story did not end there.... I ended up getting the Explorer II 42mm one month down the road
But really... the blue lume, orange hand & up-sized dial/hands are awesome when the watch is wrapped around your wrist...
As for the GMT function, both watches work fine for me as I would only use the GMT hand to indicate the second time zone, and rarely (never so far) adjust the bi-directional bezel to mark the third time zone...

I think it looks better in actual than from the photos...the size and thickness is just nice. If u don't travel very much, take the explorer2-42mm. Try it on...u will know what i mean.

That's great. Unfortunately I can't afford both. Will try on both this weekend. Not in a hurry to buy and will take time to consider. Learnt some bitter lessons in buying impulsively. Thanks for the advice bros.

If comparing the gmt2 to the 088, I'd say go for the gmt2. The 88 looks kinda weird and out of place among the panerai line up in terms of it's dial layout and design. Its's chaotically cluttered. The gmt 2 looks neater and better.
If comparing against the 320, well, I'd say go for the gmt2 as well. I have. 320 myself so can share more. The 320 is the closest to the traditional laminar design and layout. However, it's 2nd time zone is not as easily read and clearly laid out as the gmt2 IMHO. A bit too plain for a dual time watch. Plus point for the 320, though, is the power reserve indicator (pri) on the back.
If comparing against the 321, again, my vote goes to the gmt2. The pri on the dial looks awkward and outta place IMHO. Again, the neater gmt2 dial is more appealing to me.
One other thing. Do you prefer an in-house movement? If so, you can drop the 088 from the list. It uses an eta movement. And I always find the cyclophosphamide date on pams more of a copy or rolex wannabe design haha. The 320 and 321 have and additional complication in the form of the pri.
But as you can see from my little write up, my vote goes to the gmt2 regardless of which Pam you are comparing it against.I don't have enuf watches but I will stop buying now!

IMHO, the white dial looks better in photos and a&p materials. However, the black dial looks better in actual cos the orange wordings and hand stand out better.
I actually asked for the white first but ended up getting the black instead.
And I decided on the x2 cos it's slightly bigger than the gmt2.I don't have enuf watches but I will stop buying now!
