GMT Master II Root Beer

The two-tone GMT II, with bronze dial and bronze & gold bezel, is quite a stunning watch. It's out of production and the one which I like best is
the one with a Jubilee bracelet (see attached). It's also call the GMT Root Beer because it had colours associated with A & W root beer (another hard to find item). Are these watches still easily available in the pre-owned market in Singapore?

Acccording to the details provided:

"X" series. Comes with Undated Guarantee Card. The Case & Bracelet are in Excellent Condition. Not the usual "Oyster" bracelet that comes with Rolex Sports Model.

Price: I can recall exactly, but below $7000.

Root beer is nice I would say...but jubilee + sports? dun really match...

It appears that this mixture was an option provided by Rolex. For instance,
Rolex GMT model 16750 of the eighties now considered vintage as it was fitted with a plastic or acrylic crystal, was fitted with a Rolex Jubilee bracelet. Apparently, many of the GMT's were shipped and sold with Jubilee bracelets as an option.

The Jubilee bracelet gives the watch a completely different look and is a lot more appealing than one would have imagined.

Hi, any LJ'ers here saw this watch at any preown shops?? Been huntin for it now. Saw one at Lucky but the sales-persons are crapped. Always quote $1k higher than ANY preown shops

Is the root beer still available in RSC?

Anybody knows whether the bezel for the root beer is still available in Rolex Service Centre? I hear that it is been discontinued but cannot confirm. Thanks.
