1st Rolex Submariner ND, but bezel aligns only with 1 eye closed, help?

Hi guys,

Got my first rolex as a reward for myself last week.

Now that i look at the watch, the bezel doesn't seem to align unless i close one eye and view with my left master eye.

Is this a common issue? If i use my camera to take a photo, it's nicely aligned, but not if i look at it with both eyes open.

Is this the same reason why we go live firing and use only our master eye to aim through the scope?
