Rolex milgauss 116400 collectible?

Hello everyone, just to see how everyone feel about the milgauss
I feel that this is a unusual piece of Rolex and should be quite sought after in the future.
Rolex will probably discontinue this piece as I think it doesn't sell as well as other Rolex range.

I think it's collectible, but as to regards on how it hold it's value, it's debatable. The GV was trading well excess of 10k when it was launched but now it's nearer to 7-8k.

Well, that depends very much on how much the watch was purchased at.

i can buy at cheaper than the normal 10% discount, probably around 13-15% off. the 116333 slate dial is on my watch list now.

I think the price when the watch just came out is crazy, the current price probably a better reflection of how it is worth
But then again, you collect them because you love them, if you thinking to buy and sell, I really don't see it as a good investment.
