My concern is will the rubber stripe be strong enough to hold the strong head of dssd?

If the head drop onto the floor will be a gonner. That's mine 2cents opinion.

Dssd head is very heavy as compare to other rolex sports model.

I dare not risk with that 3rd party rubber.

The 3rd party bands remove a bit of the excessive amount of steel on the deepsea especially when viewed from the side of the helium release valve, IMO. Would be good for someone looking for a rubber banded watch.

Very nice! but if the clasp is not the pin hole type but buckle clasp then will be a winner.

Rubber B also looks good. feel like getting one for my SD.

i have to agree. would be great if the original rolex clasp can be mounted on the rubber strap.

Just watching NAT GEO just now; James Cameron: Voyage to the Bottom of the Earth.

They said that the Submarine HAD 4x Deepsea Challenger Watches installed on it..... and showed them mounting them on to the sub.... very interesting and makes me think you'll see it released
