Ya. Should be wearing them than keeping them in box or winder. ;-) start wearing them daily.

Both purchase BN. Actually I wear either of them everyday lah. Looking for a preowned one not so much for daily wear, but for rough wear when doing sports or go overseas.

IMO, both models are suitable for rough, daily wear. They do not weigh heavy and are less bulky. In addition, any repair on the external parts that may result in wear-&-tear should cost you lesser as compared to those with ceramic bezels. Since both are distinctively different outwardly, it is a very personal choice - one's black; the other's white.

In your case, since you already own two watches of different colored dials and of different functions, you should consider a white dial Explorer II. Other than a good variety of colors, the Explorer II will give you a more varied mix in your collection - Explorer II, GMT II & Submariner. As compared to GMT II, Submariner, Submariner (ND) .

I think the GMT II works closely similar to the Explorer II, except that the former's rotating bezel can give you a third timezone. Hope to see your new purchase soon.

i would say get the Sub ND. the reason being that explorer II has a second time zone function which is similar to that GMT IIc. so getting a sub ND would be something different and adds a different dimension you your rolex collection.

the bezel on explorer II is fixed, hence possible only to tell 2 time zones. the bezel on the GMT IIc is rotatable, thus able to tell 3 time zones. so the function to tell 2 time zone is more or less the same.

Btw, can anyone advise if the GMT function for Exp2 works the same as GMT2C?

Looking for preowned, >10-year-old. Therefore, pricewise should be about the same. I'm really torn, appreciate your comments and help.

I like the simple yet rugged look of the Sub nd. As for the Exp2, the GMT function and it being a white dial rolex sport (as I don't like milgauss and chrono watches). Btw, can anyone advise if the GMT function for Exp2 works the same as GMT2C?

Just bought a Sub ND in Nov/Dec last year. To some extent, it was impulse buying. But, love the watch a lot. Not chunky and comfortable. Has a clean cut dial.

Off topic, any views on whether Sub ND (new) or SD 16600 (no holes) assuming price not too far?
