The 3 "clock" are known as sub-dials. They're more like a meter. One turns like the second hand, the other jumps every min, and the last one jumps every hr...

You're welcomed. The Daytona is one of the most elegant and finest sports watch that Rolex ever made. If you're keen in getting one, preowned or new, do let me know. I can point you in the right direction to get a cheaper piece

Hahhaa...wrong. 19k is more or less can get on the spot or within a few days coz they usually store at headquarters.

This would depend on personal preference la. If you really like the SS version then get it lor,but if u like the daytona itself but no preference of material or colour then I would say get the TT 1 which is cheaper. if I am not wrong a preowned daytona costs something like 16k? Or if u get from MP also ard that price iirc..

                      half gold = ss/gold combination?

one possible reason is that they are not highly sought after. hence the price is lowered compared to that of ss.

almost makes financical sense to get TT, since the "gold" would be worth more - material wise

If everybody wants the SS and nobody wants the TT, they will mark the SS price up so thats why the TT is cheaper

personally is think thats good for those that like TT ..
                            SRC is bad dealer !
