  • New GMT lumi not bright enough?

I just got a new GMT for few weeks and notice that at night, the lum is not bright enough. My 11 years old omega seamaster glows brighter than my GMT.
I can read time if I turn off the light, however its not bright.
    Is it normal?

Note: during daylight, when I drive and my GMT is exposed to sunlight and I enter to a dark parking lot. Its lum very bright.

Does it mean that GMT lum cannot keep the bright power for long time (e.g at night)?

    Thanks,

Yes. The lume need 'charging'. It is normal and will lose its glow as time pass.

The lume on the GMT 2 C is pretty average in terms of time compared to other brands.

i am also keen in the lum detail. did a google n found out that if you direct light close enough to it for several minutes, the illum will be charge n glow. it was goot to my eye after 2 mins with a torch shine on it for 2 mins on my gmt n sub lv. i feel happy
