      ok the hunt & wait is over...

      got a new alpha numeric set at Peninsula @ NO DISC $10,500

      went all island to all known ADs n the price is freaking fixed LOL , refused to even budge 1% off

      LOL , ok happy now liao

      i guess its the CNY buzz & people are on a buying frenzy so that's y no disc

      overseas maybe cheaper i guess becos mayb the buying power is not there at these countries hence more stocks lying around?

      anyway PROUD NEW owner of GMT M 2 hehehehehehehehehehe

        lucky plaza hor i went down leh the Sub & GMT hor its G series leh , 2010 production's...u can try the one i got the watch frm...peninsula plaza...chinatown u may try also...

        daytona was my 1st choice BUT didnt go for it cos its too SMALL on my wrist...then switch my attention to the GMT / Sub..so eventually got the GMT....daytona u no nid to ask liao , i ask frm north to south ...from west to east , all no stocks , try the 1 in Millenia Walk (THG). called them few days ago , got stock for Daytona even black dial but quoted premium $...no disc @ $16,500 , white dial at $15,500

          Prices of Sub in accordance to my huntings

          well before i gotten the GMT , i also looked around for the SUB SS & every1 is not giving any disc at that time ...were asking for 10,640 nett

          i did try chinatown also nim , but no stock for both GMT & Sub..every1 is using the "CNY" sales talks

            & yes i paid in CASH no disc also didnt wanna barge even 1% for me also..joked around with the sales lady , etc etc also didnt work..LOL die die list price for my GMT

              ss sub and gmt are very easy to sell, so they don't see a need to give disc. but i will try to pay by card though...can earn a lot of points.

                  Have not been to the shops lately but am surprised that the stock for sub is so low at the moment..... anyone anticipating another price hike anytime soon?

                    Yes, should be soon. Some brands are already affected. I learnt that Tag Heuer just increased pricing on 1st January 2012, by way of reduced discount.

                          Purchase of GMT

                          well , actually i went down to chinatown also , the quoted me the SAME price as in lucky , THGs , etc etc , just that the stocks in chinatown was NOT alpha series , same with the ones in lucky , so i tot hey if all e prices the SAME , of cos i will get the latest alpha numeric mah

                          so i bot mine at Lee Chay (i think i got the name right) in Peninsula Plaza...no fair leh how come i went around & then they never even offered any discs even i said CASH & some of u guys can manage to get dics wor...mayb i look "desperate" to buy ? LOL

                          anyway nice 1 also lah if pay by CC , get loads of points leh , can go makan also
