Anyone can enlight me if 116710LN V Series is consider old/newest series if we don't take Alpha-Numeric into consideration?

V (2009) is relatively new, followed by G (2010) and current alpha numeric (2011-now)
before V was M (2008), and earlier than that was Z (2006/7), D(2005) ,F (2004)
