Any idea what would be the parallel import price now of a LV from Japan? 3 months ago, it was 8K. Now7K?

wow, sub lv at 7.5k...how many percent discount is that? i plan to get a sub tt, but now decided to hold off my purchase till feb next year. when the economy is jialat jialat, and the shops are desperate for survival, then go in and whack.

When the economy is jialat, jialat, and shops are desparate for survival, we may be equally jialat, jialet, and desparate to hold on to whatever cash we have.

Rumours coming in fast that the AD are having alot of M series LV that why they are clearing stock for the V series which are even cheaper.

                            Submariner

                            Hi all,

Today if you bring CASH to Local AD they will sell you Sub at good price even though they said selling nett at list price they will give a discount! why? because Rolex give dealer a 30% off. AD give you 10% they still make a healthy 20%!!

Example Sub $8228.00 dealer price $5759.60 they sell to you for $7400.00
they still make a good $1640.40!! for selling a Sub. They will get year end target rebate some more!! From RSC.

Seller has to offer reasonable market price, now that economic down turn and next year into reccession. Local AD want to meet their sales target too, rental, over heads to cover, bonus for staff etc.. so sell sell sell..

                            cheers

                                Submariner

                                Hi Bro,
I have been a loyal Rolex user since 1973 till today so you see, I must know all these. Way back in the 70 or 80s Peter Chew at Clemenceau Avenue SUpreme HOuse, they were the local AD for Rolex, I was offered a Daytona for less than $2k brand new I told the sales rep. it look so ugly 3 knob.. what a fool I am !! but I bought the Submariner now called the "Red Sub"

So not too bad after all, The red sub is my daily used since day one, I used it for diving, fishing, washing cars, never take off even in bed or in shower, you see how loyal to the watch!! haha..

Today if anyone who is foolish enough to offer me a right price I might let go
and buy few more Rolexes and Panerai, giving birth to a new range of Rolex kia..Panerai kia...

                                cheeeeeers
