Daytona! Which is which?

Was at Thailand MBK with my wife and friends and they decided to play a prank on me =) swop it during my bath and here it goes.....

but of course when it is on your hand... u know that the fake is of course a fake. but i realise this is easier if I have a daytona in person. another giveaway is the winding of the crown. the sound is very different .

ok.. so which is which .... from afar =)

base on the blur pictures it is hard to tell.

Fake from a distance on a wearer's wrist one will not be able to tell at all..... hmmmmm

One of my friend ever show me a THAILAND SUB DATE 16610... on the hand also cannot tell until he take out for me to see - so real!

One of the obvious flaw for a fake Daytona is the thickness of the watch case. Those fakes one are always much more thicker than the real one because of the movement used.

bingo bingo bingo.....

=) all right even from a distance. But it is definately not that easy from a distance and definately worse if i do not have a real one beside me to compare.

but a big giveaway is when u start to wind the crown. it is so different.
for educational purpose... the street price is about SGD 50 - SGD 200

i do not support fake good but hope that information can help people to identify a genuine from fake.

And for the fake... the pusher for the chronograph function are just mainly aesthetic. No use at all.
I actually saw one 'AAA' that the chronograph is actually functionable but then again the 'click' sound is just so unacceptable.

The right is fake. I will never leave my fingerprints there when taking a photo of my rolex
