Explorer I with strip

hi all..

recently was @ my regular 2nd hand dealer shop.
saw a Explorer I, love @ first sight.
no 2nd thought, ask for price and purchase without thinking.
later ask them to replace leather strip.. look damn "man"
like to ask where can I get geniune "Rolex" leather strip or there is no such thing.
Explorer came with SS bracelet.
Need friendly advise.

I have never seen a Rolex strap before. But honestly speaking I rather wear a non rolex strap as leather straps are easily damaged by wear and tear or water damaged.

For sports models Rolex (like your explorer 1) definitely won't use leather strap as it defeats the purpose of it being water proof. But the other models like Rolex Prince MIGHT have, I'm not too sure.
