Rolex GMT Master U series value?

Hello All Rolex expert,

Need to seek for your kind advice.
My friend is about to sell me his Rolex GMT Master U series purchased on 1998 from Hong kong AD. With pin hole and no chapter ring & comes with full set (With Box & paper). So the question is how much this piece is worth as we both are clueless.

Is this the one with the black bezel? Depending on the watch's condition, it should be around mid 5K to early 6K?? One way to be more accurate is to visit few second-hand watch shops and find similar pieces to seek its pricing.

Full set U series 16700 with "SWISS T<25" dial I would say S$6200
