difference between a 1680 and 16800?

16800 has a matte dial...1680 i dun really know

The biggest diff between the 1680 and 16800 is that the 1680 uses a PLASTIC crystal and the 16800 has a SAPPHIRE crystal. 16800 early model have matte dials, while later serial numbers...about 8.6 mil on....is fitted with a gloss WG dial.1680 are non quickset date models, while 16800 are quickset.
