In economic term it's not worth to buy any DLC rolex anywhere on planet earth.
In emotional term it's up to individual.

let's look @ 2 parts of your questions.
1) DLC rolex. is it worth it from economic sense, yes and no.
yes. why? depending on which company you buy from. company A may charge more compared to company B. so it could be worth it from this perspective.
no. why? because you can never bring it to RSC for service. the market to resell is smaller compared to non DLC rolex.
2) from overseas? yes and no again.
why yes? because there are companies which charges cheaper than those available in singapore.

if you have lots of $$$ i would say go for it! the pvd or dlc rolex are damn good looking.
check out the latest EVO Singapore magazine. there was one custom orange dial Rolex Deepsea Bamford Arancio that was sold for SG$40,000 (reserve price was $28,000) in aid of President's Challenge charity.Comment
