In 1976, Rolex supplied the 5513 to the British Navy. The watches came with straps instead of bracelets. These watches were then issued to the Navy Divers (lucky bunch of guys).
It seems that the divers were given a choice of either being issued with a Rolex or Omega. Hmm...come to think of it, James Bond was supposed to be in the British Navy.

The navy issue of the 5513 (also referred to as 5517) is highly sought after, very nice with the marking on dial and case back.
James Bond was a Commander in the Navy, ranking just below Captain.
