as mentioned, sg-roc got 1 local seller selling cheaper than the price you got quoted.

if you buy from online US dealers, you still need to risk the shipment being lost or goods not authentic and if it arrives, pay GST.

16519 wg daytona worth?

Hey guys, this is my first post here so im sorry if i make any mistakes.

I am currently looking at the 16519 WG daytona with white dial. Can you guys advise me on what it is worth? I mean what is the market price for these watch.

Also, the watch has been polished, so does that has an impact on pricing?

Market is about 17-18k for a 16519 which is more than 10 years old.

If a watch has been polished, retailers won't lower price unless it has been badly polished. But it's normal that most watches will be polished lightly so retain it's beauty.

Then it's up to you if you can accept the polishing and bargain as needed.

sounds about right. polishing does nothing to the value unless you are selling back to them . you can try to push the point that the case has been overpolished and see if you can knock off some money from there.

Bro, agreed with everything but differ on last sentence. Bright colours actually stand out better against black background, not white background. That's why all tv strive to have full black screen to bring out max contrast. Just my 2 cents.

If you look very carefully, most of Rolex sports watches are black dial, except daytona white and exp II white... White actually makes the watch looks a bit bigger. And the red letters stand out better on a white dial

The daytona meteorite dial itself costs sgd7.7k. If ss comes with meteorite dial, that's means the mrsp is at >18k to 20k and ad r likely to let go at much higher px.

i heard rumors that meteorite dial can put in SS daytona....... that would be my fav combo

yup; if you have access to a watchmaker who can get their hands on the dial, you can buy the dial, and get a watchmaker to fit the meteorite inside. as for price; it will be very very steep.

My opinion is that white dial Daytona is much more legible than any other colour - I am talking about SS version. It will be my choice in very near future.

If that is DAYTONA dail as pictured, it seem to be a "old" dial. The new one has extra ticks at 29 and 33 and sub dials very shiny.

Anyone come across a white dial with extrac ticks ?
