I think the retailed for Daytona SS is about $15k, but the selling price from local AD is about $15.5k to $16.5k for white dial whereas $16k to $17k for black. Black is always more expensive than white, not sure why. Some say black is more sporty. It all depends which AD and how close you are to them and availability. Still hoping the price to drop close to retailed, but rumor that Rolex will increase price soon. The closest was 2 years ago where premium is very close to retailed, but these 2 years it had increased again. And surprisingly shorter waiting time, guess Daytona is getting less popular as there are many newer models over the last few years, or people are waiting for the "new" SS Daytona with ceramic? But if it does launched, it will be much much more. Honestly if you really like, better get it before annual price increase.

Actually both white and black are still cool. It's more of an individual preference if I may say. I have 2 black dials seikos and 1 black dial tag chrono, that's y my rolex is green. If I were to buy a ss daytona, it will very likely to be a white face.Beep Beep!!!!!
