My personal experience? Wait a little. You might find slightly cheaper options. Of course, other variables come into play. The condition, trustworthiness, warranty, etc. Sometimes, it may be wiser to pay a little more for satisfaction than to save a little for some heartache. Choice wise, I'd go for the one with the newer innovations, eg. chapter ring and 3186 movement. I personally prefer the EXP 2 for daily abouse, in part due to the heft and sturdiness of the solid steel fixed bezel, and for its reasonable price (since its still in production). Collection wise, its good to give the LV Sub some thought.

hmmm. for explorer. I prefer the older models with a tritium lume and with a 3185 movt. I feel its more... investment worthy. I mean. since its out of production.
          wish list.

Thanks guys for all the input, appreciate all the opinions given. End of the day, guess i will zero down to the Sub, will choose between the LV or the 18k/SS. Thanks.
