To me i reckon local or foreign set does not matters much if you want to wear it long ... but foreign ad pricing and local pricing matters ... unless from countries famous for counterfeits

Germany retailing at 6660 euros (it was around 5900 euros in December 2010), before VAT refund... VAT rate is 19%... Best bet is to travel to small towns and you might have some luck!!!

In Germany the VAT rate is 19% but the net refund is around 14%. When you buy from a AD like Bucherer or Wempe they will charge the full ammount and when you leave EU at the airport, you would need to show the customs officials , have the paperwork stamped and use a VAT refund company like Global Blue which will take their commission out.

Sub C LV seems to be difficult to find in most markets. I had to put on a wait list to get one. 2 months and it arrived. I stopped at 4 countries: UK, Greece, Dubai, Brunei, and visited no less than 8 Rolex boutiques and AD's -- one had an all gold sub C, TT blue and black Sub C's but no LV. All the other 7 had no LV's either. That should tell you something..

It's hard to get. And even harder to get at a discount.

Over here in Perth , Western Australia, both Rosendorffs and Smales have it in stock. It does certainly look a lot better in real life then in pictures/ on the net.
