iam looking at this watch too,but not willing to pay premium price of about $12.5k as quoted by HG and Cortina..
i know the list price is about $10.7k plus..but buying above list price doesn't make sense to me..
any gurus can advise if the market cools down, the price will drop??
and also i heard that Feb price might increase, iam getting worried..pls help..

Price for new luxury watches will not drop...only increase... I was told by AD that price will increase in Feb or March for all Rolex models...

i understand the list price will only increase...but i suppose due to the demand for this 116610LV,its been retailing at premium price now..i heard that the older 16610LV was speculated up to $15k or more, but look at the price now..

N the card stated is under hour glass.
                Why is it so?
Is 11k a gd catch already?
                Any pros here? Pls advice!!!!
                Thanks..
Its possible that some watches sold by PI are actually from local AD.
As long as its brand new (all stickers intact), warranty card properly stamped by the local AD, you are good to go.

Whether $11k is a good price or not, it depends on how badly you want it.
                Hulk's listed price is S$10,892

not now...when it was newly launched...
maybe because many people thought it was a limited model..

Just wait for another 3-6 months. prices should soften as the demand for the new watch reduces.

even if the watch has been stamped THG, it can mean that someone including WA bought from THG and sell it as a BNIB if not worn.

as to whether will price will soften in 3-6 months, i can't say 100%. why? if can predict like that, then all hold their purchases now liao. but what happens in 3-6 months the selling price dont drop?

why is it that the selling price above list price currently? one of the rumors is that there is shortage of stock in local market couple with the fact that it is still considered a 'newly' launched model. another rumor is that because now is considered bonus taking period, so chances of consumer surplus is available. AD will take opportunity of this.

sub lv price remain 'marginal' higher for at least 1 year since launched. so will history repeat itself?

if you are those who buy and keep, then it does not matter that much if pay slightly above list. (no more than 5%) why? rolex list price goes up annually. for sports model, the price increase ~5%, so after 5 years, maybe the price gone up say by (15%{absolute} from current list price), with discount being stagnant say 10-15% depending on relationship with AD, you wont be that far off.

however, do note that currently most rolex watch resale value are low. in fact all time low if i can recall.

my AD never quote me any price when there is no stock. i see no purpose. why? if no stock, can also quote under list price. this is usually done to entice customers to go back.

there is no harm in trying to buy from HK. so long as you know what to look out for, it is pretty ok
