Does this show that a Rolex Submariner is a good investment? I would imagine the 5510, although not available today, would be quite easily available back in 1955 ....
Would today's Submariner be the "5510"s of the future, say, 2050? Just imagine, in 2050, someone holding to a new Sub bought in 2000 ..., that stainless steel timepiece will be worth lots of $$$$$ by then!

Not likely but you can try.
