Understand Hong Konger or Cantonese are supersitious and will try to avoid these 2 colors. The white face Rolex as (Bak lo), meaning work and gain nothing. The Blue face rolex as (Nan Lo), Meaning difficult to make a living.

Heard that too. But hor...read an article that HK is the no.1 sales location for Rolex. Most common Rolex sport models are black face leh. Go figure. 0

Yup, the orange needle is reminiscence of Steve McQueen Explorer. I do like both the red & orange needle on white dial. One problem with the upcoming
orange needle will probably be the high premium price when they launch.

There are some who hate the upcoming orange needle one as they feel it's a
Frankenstein of Steve McQueen.
