I think if you are going to go diving with it on, then you probably should get some expert to take a closer look at it. If you have no intention to get it wet, then maybe it would still survive the normal elements.
I had a quick look at all mine, and none of them are anywhere near like your picture shows. All my crowns are quite flush to the body.
Good to know u just din screw it in propoerly....after reading this thread...I was comparing my ExpII with my DJ as well and I do find that there is a slightly bigger gap for the ExpII than the DJ when screwed tight.
Is it a prob? No issues going into running water etc so far for the Exp II though...appreciate it if any bro can advise. Cheers.
Dont forget the EXP2 came with a dual rubber seal inside the crown if i remember correctly. it was the the seadweller that had three seals inside. so unless you are going extreme terrains, then maybe you can get away with leaving it alone

I spent some time checking with AD and it was ok with the gap. I found another M serial exp2 with the similar gap, so I am resting fine now..LOL
That first pic posted here was really due to me missing a couple of screw thread, now that i caught it well, the crown is resting closer to the case which looks acceptable to me.
