  • 16613 TT Series (Blue dial)

    Hi

Not sure if this has been posted before but does anyone has a record of the chronological listing of all 16613 TT blue dial series and production years?

i know there are "A", "U", "Z" etc but i like to know the full list and their approximate production years and also any differences in the design, materials for the different series.

    Any Rolex guru can help?

    Thanks

No need rolex guru for the production year question...

The production letter/code, as part of the serial no., is not specific to models but apply to all rolex watches. Google or do a search in this forum and you will find the table.

As to what differences are there in design/material for the different series of 16613, I think you need a guru...but still I suggest you try googling...

      hi

thanks. i think there is some misunderstanding. What i like to know is:

      for e.g.

      SERIES NUMBER PRODUCTION YEARS
      "A" series 1995-1996
      "U" series 1997-1999

this is so that when i know what i am getting when i buy a pre-owned 16613

      cheers

              thanks to everyone.

i have 1 more question which may sound silly

assuming a pre-owned V series is selling for $7000, can i reasonably expect a pre-owned M series to be selling for slightly (say $200) lower, all toher things like condition being equal?

is that some kind of step-ladder pricing as we go down the table?

              Thanks again.

V series is supposedly commands a higher price than the M series as it is newer. The 16613 should be ard 7.3k ba depending on the condition.

But don't go mainly on the series of the watch, rather go for the CONDITION of the watch. I saw a 2000 Sub banged and scratched up.. and top of that no box&papers. I also saw an earlier Sub 90s and in complete set and very mint. If its an old model but has been taken cared off with regular servicing from a reliable watchmaker or best the RSC it will run & look like a new watch. Note that servicing it on RSC is pricey especially if they decide to get new parts for it. But if you just want a yearly service done to it, I saw a thread here where someone service it for 100$.
