Haha...this is funny. Same thing happened to me today when signing my expense report and was looking for a date on my watch but realised that no date ....

I know others have different view. But i can't foresee myself wearing the sub date or explorer for a long long time.........

Doesn't matter which model you buy. What's most important is not to buy something on impulse. Do some research. Try out the watches in the stores. Hold out for a few months before buying. If at the end of a few months you are still feeling strongly about a certain model, that's the one...

Couldn't agree more, the best is to try, cant beat actual trying, you will then be able to appreciate the look and the feel on your wrist. Every sports model have their cult followers......and you may also be limited by your budget.

I don't presume your wrist is skinny u may have thicker wrist so may suit dssd or sd.

Tastes matter as well as money matters, of course got money buy all lah dun waste time think,ha,ha. However, if money is limited then go back to taste, tastes varies on how the watch looks....bezel, crown, hands, dial, extra gmt hands,more clutter or simple face, with date or not, movement, even bracelet!

To be frank....all these watches can be worn from casual, even with your underwear to formal functions!
