Question on GMT Pepsi vs Coke

Hi,

Are the pricing of both models (pre-owned) level based on the same condition and production year?

If I were to buy either one, am I able to find (with relative ease) the other bezel so I can use interchangeably? Will it be possible to buy from RSC?

no , you can't buy it from RSC. RSC only sell same bezel , but you may get it from preowned shop ........But it is not easy to change the bezel by your own....

GMT Master II Pepsi/Coke ref code 16710 has been discontinued.

there are some pepsi model on the M series where some of them are on 3185 and some on 3186 movement.

which is more sort after? cant answer that. buy one that you like.

there are several variations of dial as well. one is the II, the other is the ll.

price commanding the selling price is based on demand and supply. today can be pepsi. tomorrow can be coke. following day can be all black

u can 'buy' inserts form RSC. just tell them you want to change. if they have stock, they can change for you. but u cant keep the old insert. if you source from open market, you get to keep your own insert.

changing the insert depends on availability of tools and your learning skills. there are numerous youtube video showing you how. try to search it yourself. alternatively, you buy from open market and go to a watch repair shop and get them to change it for you @ a fee.

i would suggest you go to people's park shopping centre and complex to have a walkabout and see the pre-own shops there what they display and have inside their shop. this would tell you whether can find easily or not.

also just to share with you, the pepsi inserts got several variations. you want to buy also? if i were to tell you that i have a tritum dial GMT Master II pepsi insert X 2(different variation bezels) plus 2 variations of dial plus coke bezel plus all black bezel plus undated and unnamed papers in LNIB condition selling for 20k, you want?

but if u really wanna buy the insert or bezel from RSC without them taking back ur old insert/bezel, u might try removing it and go into RSC and buy it from them telling them the insert/bezel drop or u lost it.Hope this helps.Cheers.
