See bro, that's the difference... you bought a t-shirt and you were indeed a customer to them, you should try opening their wrappers and try on every single design of their t-shirts but never buy and see if she will still give you that smile....

I personally feels that the customer service standards here in Singapore needs to be improved on the whole and not only watch retailers. Its the same when you visit the Chanel boutique or sometimes, those shops that sell items that are not so expensive.

We have to make shopping enjoyable here instead of always calling singapore as a shopping paradise. The shopping experience should be viewed as a "whole" experience and offerring many products at competitive prices are just part of the "whole" experience.

One time i was shopping in Ginza, Japan, and i bought this t-shirt that costs me less than S$20. I told the sales girl that i wanted the particular piece and was surprise when she started to take out some wrapping papers to wrap the t-shirt and told her that its ok, don't have to wrap. But she insisted wth a smile on her face. Thats what i think is good customer service, exceeding my expectations.... she walk the extra mile and left a great memory and impression of Japan. That was 16 years back and i can still remember it today and the t-shirt is still around!!

i gotta agree that svc stds in japan exceed that in spore by a very long shot...

my experience with them so far - the salesppl there are helpful and polite even if they are aware you won't be buying things from their label. whether they're sincere or not is another issue, but at least they present a positive attitude, and i as a customer, am impressed and happy... at times GRATEFUL for their behavior...

All I can say is POOR UPBRINGING. They think that the world is in their hands having spent just 30 bucks for 7 morons in that restaurant. Fret not, this cruel society will teach them a lesson later in life.

IMHO as long as good service is given by the service provider, they should not worry about pple trying to smear their reputation like this. Others will appreciate and good reviews will still outweigh these insignificant potential bad reviews.

But 1st and foremost, good service must be given lah...

yes, in this case, when "good service" is given, your company lose $$$ big big.... spent $30 and sat whole nite...

How about shops like Passion or JW? JW gives me the impression that they are able to sell their listed pieces very quickly! Prices can be attractive sometimes but its useless as its impossible to buy them before they are sold off.
I would say JW has better customer service than Passion!
